BitterHost provides shared hosting services that include web, email, DNS, databases, and related infrastructure. These services are provided on an as is and as available basis. We aim for high uptime, but no provider can guarantee that downtime will never occur.
Plans mention storage and traffic guidelines. If your usage begins to affect other customers or the stability of the platform, we will contact you to discuss options. In rare cases, we may have to temporarily limit or suspend service to protect the platform.
You are responsible for the content you host. Your use must comply with the BitterHost acceptable use policy and with the laws of the jurisdiction where services are operated. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
We maintain backups for disaster recovery, but you remain responsible for your own independent backups. If data loss occurs, we will make a reasonable effort to restore from backups, but we cannot guarantee that every backup will be recoverable or current.
We may update these terms as services evolve. When we do, we will update the date on this page and, for significant changes, notify account contacts by email.
